Gesture (like sliding) instead of tapping for marking

When I (and also my wife) have the phone in one hand and with the other hand I taking the foods in the basket, unfortunately I'm tapping with my thumb on the screen and mark some food as "bought".

the possibility to change from tapping to a gesture like sliding should be very helpful
