Prevent duplicate items being listed in the crossed off section.

If you use autocomplete to add an item to the list it stays in the crossed off section.  Then when you are shopping & you cross off the item from your list it appears in the crossed off section again.  Over time the number of duplicates grows & grows.

I'd love to have this feature! The items added to the list via autocomplete should be put on top of the stack and all duplicate items underneath should be removed.

yes completly agree, to me this is a bug and not a feature request because it make the autocompletiion useless over time as it creates so many duplicates.

yes, the crossed off section gets VERY MESSY with so many duplicates... having one of each thing would make it much easier to tap and add rather than type in again.

We use it by scrolling through the 'already shopped for list' and just tapping the items so they appear in this weeks list, and yes the crossed off list gets sooooo long it becomes useless. Would love it if they had the 'delete duplicates' feature. All in all I love this programme though, and can't believe other shoppers around me are still using paper lists!!! For a start, I don't have to try to read someone else's scrawled writing with this programme. And I have it colour coded to my route around the supermarket.

Is there any chance that it will be implemented after 3 years after suggestion? It is very useful option.

It realized in version 3.5 on Android. Thanks!
