ability to cut & paste an entire list in text format

I prep my grocery list as a separate document, and would like to be able to cut & paste the entire list into the app at one go, rather than one item at a time

I see this is complete, but how do I paste a list into this app? I tried, and it pasted the list as a single item in this app's list?
