Add a badge counter to the app icon


So the user can see, how many is changed in the list to buy und how many products to buy.

You'd have to be able to choose from which list the count comes.

This way of push notification would be way more useful than "your shoppinglist has changed".

I'd like to see if I have any items to bring from the store without opening the app.

We should be able to select/flag those lists that should be counted in the badge.

I bought the iOS 7 version yesterday. In fact I was surprised that icon badges are not yet implemented. Would be a great idea and indeed much better than push notifications only !

We have no reaction from the developer....i think it will not be coming in the future. I think, i will search for a better app with this feature.

BUT .. I would not like a universal total to be the badge number. In settings I should be able to select individual lists to be included in the badge total.

I think, there will be no badge icon...it's now over one month and no reaction from the developers...bad support...

Well ... there seems to be quite a sizeable team there yet they appear to have done little to develop this ultra basic app. That is disappointing for sure.
Many extremely simple and basic functions have been requested for a very long time yet not responded to.
Perhaps this team is not what it seems ....

The team is a small crew, that is unable to implement everything at a time. They see all the requests, they plan their roadmap taking it into consideration.

Please do not expect any reaction from support or developers here. This is the place where the ideas are gathered. The ones taken into the roadmap or completed are marked with the corresponding statuses. However this is not where some functionality can be "ordered" or expected to be implemented right away. The ideas ratings are taken into consideration. For the future.

No need to be so sensitive and rude. We are customers who use your app commenting on it's development. Everything here is accurate.
We know you are a small team, but that does not negate the validity of the comments. Try a little more tact, please, for your own sakes.

Sorry if my message sounded rude. I did not mean to offend anyone. What I mean to say is that this is not the place where the comments from the developers should be expected.

I never suggested that there should be any comment from the developers here. I was speaking generally and there is no reason why the developers cannot, and indeed should, be making some comment on these issues somewhere on the buymeapie web site. I support the app. I want it to succeed, because I want to use it ...

More widgets would always be welcome.  I don't think active icons in the drawer are a supported android feature even in 4.4 (correct me if wrong) but I have seen widget icons with this kind of functionality for adding to home screens.

Please add this! Knowing that there are items on my list with a badge, keeps me updated and aware of what I need. This is a must have item or option on any list app.
